Our Story
Mascap Group grew from our founders’ dissatisfaction at the way in which investment management was headed. We set out to develop an approach that embraced the new emergent paradigms, leveraging new opportunities afforded by technology in an always-on, hyper-accessible global system of markets.
Founded in Spain back in 2019 by Stuart Burling and a board deep with industry experience, the Mascap proposition immediately gained traction with a new breed of conscious investor on account of its ambitious but responsible approach to investment management and fund orchestration. Its explosive growth fuelled by documented successes in such areas of AI-assisted Forex and the timely identification of promising bio-medical science investment prospects led to the rapid onboarding of 600+ clients during the organisation’s first 18 months of existence.
Success brings its own challenges and so it was that in 2021 came Mascap’s first structural evolution. Recognising the need to scale responsibly, the board instigated a progressive management model that devolved responsibility to territory-specific heads-of, each presiding over a team of experts specialising in a single asset class. Headed up by our CEO, this new operational form allowed for greater client accessibility, enhanced communication, panoramic oversight and more nuanced risk-management. This shift in culture proved to be the correct course and Mascap saw continued growth and high levels of positive feedback from our client base.
Clearly, internal change and ongoing corporate development was another route to success. In order to create a productive evolving culture, we’ve since expanded our force appointing an administrator to oversee a root and branch reimagining of our client service polices and professional conduct codes. We remain committed to the regular evaluation and updating of our governance procedures to enable us to remain true to our core principles. It goes without saying that Mascap is fastidious in the continuing reappraisal of our strategy development protocols as well as regular testing of the knowledge base from which we derive insight and advise clients at all levels on the investor spectrum.
